Sermon by Ps. Clariss
The time of migration has come; time to move with God. Obedience to his call on our lives opens up a portal into the spiritual realm.
Even the stork in the sky Knows her seasons; And the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane Keep to the time of their migration; But My people do not know The judgment of the LORD.
Jeremiah 8:7
An ox knows its owner, And a donkey its master’s manger, But Israel does not know, My people do not understand.”
Isaiah 1:3
We have to know the appointed time. We need to know who owns us. We need to know when we got to move.
Luke 12: 54 – 59 And He was also saying to the crowds, “Whenever you see a cloud rising in the west, you immediately say, ‘A shower is coming,’ and so it turns out. 55And whenever you feel a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way. 56You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how is it that you do not know how to analyze this present time?
57“And why do you not even judge by yourselves what is right? 58For when you are going with your accuser to appear before the magistrate, on the way, make an effort to settle with him, so that he does not drag you before the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. 59I tell you, you will not get out of there until you have paid up the very last lepton.”
This is a warning. Respond accurately. You must know how to interpret the demand of this season. The demand is higher now.
Are we wandering around in circles? What are we stuck on? Why are we not having the fear of God? Why are we not aligning to the word sent from God?
Verse 56 – the enemy is working in your life. Get him out quickly.
Forgive and reconcile before the time of judgment comes. Don’t let a root of bitterness grow.
Are you denying the truth? Humbly accept the Word spoken to you.
You speak the language but are you the product of what you speak? God hates hypocrisy.
Put things right while there is still time
This year 2021 is a Year of Happenings. We must align quickly to God’s voice. Our transformation and change is the only thing that will carry us through all calamities. Jesus is the model and pattern for us. God is saying –how you deal with your inner life will determine how quickly you come into maturity and stature.
No matter what you are going through God’s grace is available to change. Don’t take it for granted. Find out where you are and plot the course to reach where God wants to use you.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
This verse must bring you joy that God has made you for a purpose. The word has been proclaimed and declared before hand to come into existence. Now you take responsibility to come into its fullness.
But you are A CHOSEN PEOPLE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR GOD’S OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.
1 Peter 2: 9,10
This is the stature we must come into – Chosen, Holy and Special. If Jesus is choosing us will He fail in bringing His fullness in us?
You spend time with the Word and spend time with the Holy Spirit then the Word will come alive. You are yet to take responsibility to take the Word and change. What are you waiting for?
It is time to migrate!
Today if you hear His voice do not harden your heart. Today decide not to miss your calling. Your calling needs you to change and grow into stature. Drop the old mentality. You are who you are by the grace of God’s workmanship in your life. You are the product of His word working in your life.
In a season like this, we can go higher by loving his Word and having our eyes opened.
The spirit of acceleration is here in this season and can turn around all your delays.
Spend quality time with God. Let the spirit of acceleration come upon you. Let God enlighten you and bring you into His presence. Time is decreasing. The quickening spirit must come up on you and give you more desperation, more determination and more passion to serve him more now than before.
It is He who changes the times and the periods; He removes kings and appoints kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, And knowledge to people of understanding.
Daniel 2:21
Find out what season we are living in. What should we be doing? Our life has a timeline to finish our given tasks. Do we know when we will die? No. Let’s ask God to teach us to number our days to finish the race marked out for us.
Ephesians 5:15-17So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, 16making the most of your time, because the days are evil. 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Make the most of every opportunity to get closer to God.
Understand His will for your life.
Make the best use of your time.
Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Don’t stay on ritualistic or ordinary things. Don’t go around in circles.
God’s Word is building us to do something. This is the season to undo all things wrong in your life and build things accurately. Go to the next level of understanding.
Even Jesus has moved from the cross to heaven. If you are still at the cross it is time for you to move.
Cross is the place of mourning, suffering and crying.
All that is over.
The cross has won the victory and we can now move to the heavenly places.
Move from the cross mentality onto the throne mentality!
Rule and Reign!
It means we are positioned in the spirit to rule and reign over the earth.
This is the kingdom mentality given in Genesis chapter 1.
Genesis 1:26,27 Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.” So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
What He is, is what we have to become. This is the original intention of God.
Why are we not breaking through?
IF YOU BELIEVE THEN you can operate in the image of Christ.
Mathew 9:17Nor do people put new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wineskins burst, and the wine pours out and the wineskins are ruined; but they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.”
Your old mindsets cannot hold God’s fresh new moves. Take the grace available in this season to change.
Behold! God is doing a new thing! Today if you hear His voice do not harden your heart.
Keep encountering God. He will come when He sees Word, Worship and Prayer. With God encounter we WILL change. God encounter purifies our spirit. Then His Glory can live in us in strength to strength and glory to glory.
Prayer intercessors are those who intentionally want His heart. Be a lover of God. Pursue the relationship. Don’t leave until He answers.
We will not be dry or dull when we run behind this relationship. Wait on God to build the relationship. Without this you cannot make it in life. Catch the heart of intimacy, learn to measure the depth of the river of Holy Spirit, understand His ways and understand Him.
If the Holy Spirit is in high tide you will not face any struggle because you are in the spirit dimension. If the living waters are less, then the flesh is exposed. There is no covering and its low tide.
Relationship demands commitment in time, intimacy and persistence to make an impact in the spirit realm. You will get greater accessability and know the intuition of the Holy Spirit.
Foundation of our faith is laid. Now God can entrust more and more in us. Allow God to test us to see if we are faithful to God’s voice. God is looking for our cooperation to birth His purposes on earth.
He prepares the man before the assignment.
Examples of God encounters in the Bible
- Zechariah’s encounter with God
Luke 1:11-20Now an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the altar of incense. 12Zechariah was troubled when he saw the angel, and fear gripped him. 13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. 14You will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice over his birth. 15For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while still in his mother’s womb. 16And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God. 17And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF FATHERS BACK TO THEIR CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
God gave a prophetic word. Zechariah’s response was negative.
The prophetic word needs a willing vessel to fulfill the word. That is why there are heavenly visitations that come to the earth.
2 Chronicles 16:9For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth, so that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. You have acted foolishly in this. Indeed, from now on you will have wars.”
God looks to and fro to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. He is looking for a vessel to live in and through that willing vessel fulfill His mandate to rule. The vessel must be willing -“Be it done unto me according to your word.”
But Zechariah’s problem was reasoning. Why go through all this trouble?
We cannot become casual or careless when we come before Go. We got no choice but to obey because the Word has come. Obey immediately.
Zechariah was struck dumb because of his wrong response. Zechariah had resigned to his situation. What God desires, He will make it happen. John had to come before Jesus. He had to prepare the people for the coming Christ. Repent! Repent! The kingdom of God is here. Prophetic Voice has to go out before His coming. Don’t ignore or be careless when the Word comes else we have to answer to Him.
- Mary’s encounter with God
Luke 1:26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
If you AGREE to the prophetic word coming to you then YOU are the man. Isaiah said “Send me. Here I am.”
Mary was pleasing in God’s sight. She was a simple, humble, praying woman; chosen vessel to fulfill the great plan of redemption. God is moving us for His purpose not for our purpose.
Verse 28 :And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”
How did she become the favored one of God? God knows what our condition is, who we are, what we have become and what we are doing.
So He chose her because what she was doing was pleasing to Him. When she believed the Word that came to her she moved from being ordinary toextraordinary, from the natural to supernatural and saw the impossible become possible.
Move from transacting with God to trusting Him fully.
Luke 1:29-34 But she was very perplexed at this statement, and was pondering what kind of greeting this was. 30And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.” But Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
She was also troubled. Start to trust God even more. Then obedience will come naturally. More supernatural grace will be given. Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of God will overshadow you. And you will move from the natural to the supernatural, the spirit realm.
Put off all the sin that easily entangles.
You are not ordinary.
Be willing to soar like an eagle.
Luke 1:39-45 Now at this time Mary set out and went in a hurry to the hill country, to a city of Judah, 40and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. 41When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42And she cried out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43And how has it happened to me that the mother of my Lord would come to me? 44For behold, when the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy. 45And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.”
From the womb John was filled with the Holy Spirit. Every Word fromGod needs to be seen with the eyes of faith. Trust that what God has spoken will be done by Him.
Luke 1:42And she cried out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
Now Mary is recognized as a blessed woman. Sacrifice all your hurdles or hindrances to answer the call of God on your life.
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.
Promotion demands obedience.
Luke 1:48 For He has had regard for the humble state of His bond-servant; For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.
The bondslave becomes blessed. All this is because she walked in the counsel of God, delighted in the Lord, was a prayer intercessor and a humble woman.
Luke 1:28-31And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” 29But she was very perplexed at this statement, and was pondering what kind of greeting this was. 30And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31And behold, you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.
This must be your story. From ‘the Lord is WITH you’ to ‘the Lord is IN you’. This has to become you. The lord should be in you to rule you, to guide you, to lead you and rule the earth through you.
Head knowledge should become heart knowledge. This is how we will rule and reign. Power of Holy Spirit will operate from within.
Total submission to God is required to avoid going around in circles. Be intertwined and be one with him.
The devil will be confused whether it is the sword of Gideon or the sword of God.
We must desire to be the passageway to bring healing and deliverance to others. Be the portal and bring forth Jesus. Progress, progress, progress until God brings you to the place where He wants you to be.
- Jacob’s God encounter
Genesis 28:15-17 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” 16Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “The LORD is certainly in this place, and I did not know it!” 17And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”
Jacob had just entered into the spirit realm. The ladder, Lord, angels ascending and descending. From heaven to earth, earth to heaven there was movement and migration.
We can enter into the spirit realm. We are the passage way and the door to enter.
If you become what the Lord is making you, you will be the entrance for other people to enter.
The Gateway of Heaven is so close. If we can walk in explicit obedience, be filled by the Holy Spirit then the dimensions of heaven will break open for us.
All these scriptures are to encourage us to enter more into the spirit realm.
Heaven is looking for prophetic entry points. We can enter in and hear God’s voice clearly. Move from the natural to supernatural. You are not ordinary. You are distinguished; no longer bondslave but the blessed one of God.
Do not be interested in status but grow in stature.
Do not be satisfied by ‘Lord with you’ but go to the ‘Lord in you’.
Grow from strength to strength, glory to glory.
God is looking for entry points. Don’t be dissipated.
Put in everything for God. Be sold out for God.
Total commitment to serve him with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul and all your strength.
You are who you are by the grace of God. Get back to original position in God. God is looking for people who pay the price. Remove offences and other emotional hang ups. Seek first the kingdom of God.
Genesis 32: 28 Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have contended with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Change of name means new identity.Jacob becomes Israel.
Take on your new identity. Be a willing vessel. Be a lover of God.
Decide now that you don’t want to live the same. Let’s dedicate our lives to Him.Move with the truth. Move with the Holy Spirit.
Then you will no longer be just a teacher of the Word but YOU WILL BE THE WORD.

Rehoboth
